I have to mention CardTXT. This is a simple text editor that can read/write .txt files to the DOS filesystem on the SD card (or hard disk on the LifeDrive). I got a writing block when I needed to write the user manual for my product, so I took my TX and Palm wireless keyboard to the local Internet cafe for a change of environment and wrote it there. (And got a few comments and questions about the little toy I was using quite productively! ;) Once I had a text file on the SD card, there were numerous ways to get it to the PC for final editing and formatting into HTML, including: 1. Email, using Versamail. CardTXT has a "Send" menu item to make this simple to do. This can be done right from the Internet cafe. 2. My SD card is a SanDisk that also works as a USB drive, so I can plug it into the PC's USB port to access its contents. 3. WiFile, using Windows Networking, or Samba on Linux or Mac OS X. 4. CardExport (or DriveMode on the LifeDrive) to mount the SD card as a USB disk. (Good if you don't have a USB-enabled SD card.)
