The number of posters to this list that obviously haven't searched the list archives OR the product documentation is also disturbing. (I'm not talking about you, I'm speaking in generalities. I have no clue whether you do or don't fall into that category, I don't have any memory.) I would expect it if this was a list for, say, a IRC client. But geez, we're _developing software_ and we can't click on a "Search archive" button???? Who wants to put up some cash that there will be a "How do I get my project to work with segments?" post before Friday?? *grin* >Should I be going elsewhere for support? For support? Huh? Perhaps you read the email that you received upon signing up for this list: >The purpose of this mailing list is to provide a lasting forum for >new and experienced Palm OS(R) platform developers to ask >questions, furnish solutions, present ideas, and otherwise exchange >information with the intent of enhancing the quality of the developer >community. There's nothing in there about "support". This is a informal community of Palm developers, generously provided by palmos.com. A few 'official' types seem to poke their heads in now and then, but not in an official capacity. >Wasn't there a place to report OS bugs? Dunno. Can't help you there. >Or is all this moot due to the ACCESS acquisition and the move to Linux? Not moot. If you want real support, someone here may know where you can pay and get some. If you want a place to report OS bugs, someone here may know, and even with a switch to a different underlying OS, there would still be a need to report them.
