Ok then, good enough for me.
I'm not a recruiter. My company, M:Metrics, located in Seattle, is
looking for a good mobile device developer. The job listing is here:
http://mmetrics.com/about/positions/ENG0011.aspx
I've been with M:Metrics now for about 6 months. It's a promising
private company with revenue and an impressive client list. If you're
interested, or know someone who might be, please send resumes to me
directly, and I'll make sure that the VP of Engineering looks at them.
Hope everyone is well out there.
Cheers,
Gary

I can't find the list rules/guidelines for this group. Is it okay to
post job openings on this list? I'm guessing not, since I haven't seen
any. Anyone know of any lists out there that might allow this? I need
a mobile device developer...
A few months ago this topic came up because a recruiter posted
an ad, and I thought it was inappropriate. But not too many others
agreed with me.
I can't speak for anyone else, but as far as _I_ am concerned, it's ok
to post job openings as long as you are a principal, not a "headhunter",
and you do it in an honest, non-deceptive manner, in a way that is
appropriate for this group.
For example, if you need something other than a Palm OS programmer,
don't post your ad here.
