FWIW, our company has chosen not to install IE7 just yet. We've
experienced incompatabilities and crashes of both browser and OS.

I've had problems accessing Palm's site using Firefox on Linux
(and IIRC, Windows too), and sometimes have to get to a Windows
box and start up Internet Explorer to do things in PluggedIn.
Nowadays it is rare that I cannot use a website with Firefox.
I haven't studied the matter in detail, but I suspect that the
problem is more with Palm's web designers/programmers than with
Internet Explorer or Microsoft. Maybe they just got the site
working with IE6 and didn't test with anything else to check
for compatibility and standards compliance.
