There is a way to check for the presence of a keyboard. (It is true for all
Treos starting with the 600)

Check the Palm developers guide, that's available at pluggedin.palm.com for
more details.

Brian

Hi,
What about going for a secondary parameter like device ID or screen
resolution?

BTW - I don't quite understand your question. What do you mean with onscreen
buttons?

Best regards

Hi

How can I detect if the device has no onscreen buttons (Trio)?. I tried using
EvtGetPenBtnList, but it claimed the device had the standard buttons, even
though there are none visible!
