But if you are talking about animation, and the
"smoothness" of a graphic moving around the screen, then, yes, that kind
of "flicker" will still exist, since the moving image must be drawn in
discreet positions on the screen.

it's the same noise you have also with desktop applications due to the
video card.
I presume as you say is something will still exist and as I said is
totally acceptable.
