raw ir should work on both of these units; unless these CPU/serial interface
prevent it from doing so. the OMAP had a built in serial controller; hence
the problem. you may have to dig around for more specifications on each
device your having problems with.
in some cases; you may have to use framing techniques to allow the information
to send/flush correctly.
