Dear Bismi, Thanks for your reply. But it is not happenning all the times. I have a main application which launches other applications useing SysUIAppSwitch(); When i close the second application and come back to main application some times it is happening. Meanwhile at the time of my main application launch i will be useing the serial port to athenticate with my Hardware and charge the PALM. I am not dealing with recods. I am not sure why it is happening some times .out of ten operations once it is happening. Thanks once again for your reply. Regards, Harsha
