There is some opinion that we can not debug through an USB cable, it only can be done with serial cable.

I have an exception that does not happen on POSE, but does when the app runs on a real Dana. As soon as the app launches, before anything is seen, a Fatal Alert is generated, message is "Fatal Exception" and there is a Reset button which, when pressed, always does nothing and the message returns. I have to do a hard reset, which wipes out the existance of the application in the RAM. The only way I can debug this is to use the Dana as the debugger target, and that's my problem. After setting the Palm debugger to have the device as the debugger target, the Debug command puts up a message saying to put the Dana into "console mode". This, unfortunately, despite hours and hours of trying, I have not been able to do. I've tried the grafitti way, (shortcut followed by two periods and 2) but it never works and all I get is beeps. There ought to be a keyboard way to do it using the Dana keyboard itself, but it appears to be undocumented anywhere (or I've not yet found it). Can someone tell me how to get the Dana into console mode; and presumably how to get it back out of that mode later on?
