I have tried all the old launches and all it does is it launches the Phone
app and display the white screen.
I'm pretty sure none of the launch codes works.
If you want to change the wallpaper take a look at

this works flawlessly on treo650 and treo 700p. howewer nothing happenes
on treo 680
The 680 has a brand new phone application.
It has its own wallpaper capability on the "main" view.
