I write this message because I've been installing paludis and while
migrating from portage I found some problems. I followed the getting
started guide and used the portage2paludis script.
The problem I found is that after migrating, 'paludis --sync' failed
opening /etc/paludis dir. That was because I'm using as umask 027 as
default (portage2paludis was run as root) and paludis changes gid to
paludisbuild group's id, so it had no rights to access /etc/paludis dir.
I think it would be nice to write about this issue on the guide.
