Not for hook output for user-defined hooks. We got way too many users
moaning about 'paludis' output that was coming from some lousy hook
they got off the forums.

And for syncing, Paludis can sync multiple things at once (if you
enable dodgy undocumented hacks that won't work with some compilers).
