I'm not so sure that it matters. Not that can be changed. Ebuilds rely upon /var/db/pkg and the tree being more or less exactly the way they are. Which is a shame, because we have a VDB replacement called 'Exndbam' that's a hell of a lot cleaner. -- Ciaran McCreesh
