Hi there,

I have a problem with dependency resolving using paludis.
At first there is a problem with slots I have already reported here which is
not solved in 0.28.0 release (when e.g. k3b is in kde-3.5 slot and kde4-scm
slot, kde3.5 slot is never upgraded) and second there is some problem with
normal dependency resolving.

I have following problem:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# paludis -ip --checks none --show-reasons summary --show-use-descriptions
changed --dl-downgrade warning --dl-installed-deps-pre
pre-or-post --log-level warning --dl-upgrade always world
Building target list...
Building dependency list...

These packages will be installed:

Total: 0 packages
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, nothing, And now:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# paludis -ip --checks none --show-reasons summary --show-use-descriptions
changed --dl-downgrade warning --dl-installed-deps-pre
pre-or-post --log-level warning --dl-upgrade always everything

These packages will be installed:

* x11-apps/xgamma [N 1.0.2]
    Reasons: *kde-base/kgamma-scm:kde-svn::kde4-experimental
    "Alter a monitor's gamma correction through the X server"
    -debug
    84.50 kBytes to download
* kde-base/kgamma::kde4-experimental :kde-svn [S scm] <everything>
    -debug -htmlhandbook+
* kde-base/ktnef::kde4-experimental :kde-svn [S scm] <everything>
    -debug -htmlhandbook+
* media-libs/libkexiv2 [U 0.1.6 -> 0.1.7] <everything>
    arts -debug -xinerama elibc: (-FreeBSD)
    402.81 kBytes to download

Total: 4 packages (1 new, 1 upgrade, 2 in new slots), 487.31 kBytes to
download
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paludis wants to upgrade "media-libs/libkexiv2" but it is a dependency of
digikam and kipi-plugins and both are in world.

Shouldn't be also "media-libs/libkexiv2" be upgraded with world? Or did I miss
anything?

Regards,
Petr
