Hi,all I'd like to use paludis for building customized live-cd, based on my working installation. For this, I need to provide build profile - basically the customized copy of my /etc/paludis. Next I would be great if I'll be able to check use-flags and rebuild only that packages that differ.
So the first questions: - is there some trick to make paludis get not /etc/paludis global "profile", but another copy? - how to make paludis merge already installed packages and new building packages to another location, or maybe just get a full list of emerged files for manual copying? - obviously I'll need a way of comparing "host" use-flags and live-cd profile to produce a list of packages that need to be rebuilt. Again how? I know that it's possible to chroot, but I don't like the idea of forking my existing installation. I don't plan to have a full-featured Gentoo on live-cd.
