It appears that portage now supports sets, but the relevant files use a different format to Paludis. It appears it would be trivial to convert the portage set files to work with Paludis, but of course this would need to be re-done every time there is an update. I came across the problem when seeking to use the kde-testing repository on a work machine where I want to run 4.1.1 rather than the cutting-edge development version. Are there plans to support the portage set format. Also, if I want to use Paludis to emerge 4.1.1 rather than portage can anyone think of an easier workaround than converting the format of the set files or manually specifying the relevant ebuilds?
