Have a look at sets.conf, which you'll find... uh... somewhere.
Although some set files might look like a flat list of specs, that's only 
because the Python class to which they are mapped expects that as the input. 
Those files could equally well contain Python code that activates the user's 
webcam, uses some image detection software and generates content based upon the 
number of spiders in the room.
