Hi
I wanted to explain a bit what in portage is called a BINHOST, and why it is
needed in some environments.
For example, in Virtual Environments, using openvz
(http://wiki.openvz.org/Main_Page), much 'Virtual Machines' are installed.
Thus, to gain performance, only the one hardware machine compiles it all, and
serves binary packages to the rest (http://edoceo.com/liber/gentoo-portage-
binhost).
Will this be implemented in paludis (if not already? I couldn't see anything
like that in features page), and if so, could you take in mind the horrible
bug in current portage's management:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=144448

I hope I explained it good enough. What about it?
