Informational output to stdout and errors to stderr sounds reasonable.
Build logs are very rarely interesting if the build was ok - so removing the 
log after a successful build should be the default behaviour. e* messages are 
more likely important so they should be kept 
(app-paludis/paludis-hooks-log-mailer could probably be replaced by that).
