Sometime I install some software just to try out it... Very often these packages installs many configs under /etc directory. On uninstalling of these packages Paludis leaves tons of cruft in /etc. So question is how I can tell (maybe I should to write hook for this?) Paludis to remove this cruft?
I know that pacman from ArchLinux just renames 'protected' files into some, so user can simple review these configs and delete unnecessary by hands. With Paludis (and Portage) I do not know which files are cruft and which were come with stage archive (for example /etc/fstab, /etc/hosts etc). -- Sergey Zolotorev _______________________________________________ paludis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pioto.org/mailman/listinfo/paludis-user
