I've googled, I've checked the FAQ, I've searched the mailing list...

I generally want to stick to packages in the main "gentoo" repository.
However, that repository is missing some packages I want. Specifically
networkmanager-applet (and a few others). So I've used playman to
setup the kde-testing repository to get those packages. This works
great.

However, I now come to sync & upgrade but find that several packages
have newer revisions in the kde-testing repo and plaudis wants to
upgrade to those packages. Is there any way to tell paludis to ignore
packages in a particular repository, even if they are newer, if they
already exist in a repository with a higher importance?

I'm also not entirely sure ignoring those packages is what I want, as
I suspect the newer revisions are required to make other packages in
the repo work, like networkmanager-applet?

Cheers,

Tom
