As I need X functionality, I add lines to keywords.conf like this:
~net-im/pidgin-2.6.4 ~amd64

As time goes by, this version becomes stable and this line is not needed
anymore in keywords.conf.

Is there a way (an semi-automatic way) to clean all the dummy lines?

Try the config-decruft script from git://git.pioto.org/paludis-scripts.git

Hmm - anybody have a script that does the housecleaning automatically (with the opportunity to --pretend or whatever first)?

Otherwise that could be a lot of housecleaning...

I guess I could do it with grep/sed/etc and a lot of duct tape...
