Paludis 0.44.1 has been released:
* EAPI 3 support is enabled.
* A bug giving incorrect results when using -* in use.conf/options.conf has
been fixed.
I'm still waiting for someone with access to paludis.pioto.org to show
up, so you'll temporarily find it at
http://dev.exherbo.org/~ingmar/distfiles/paludis-0.44.1.tar.bz2.
