I would be strongly inclined not to believe any instructions on a wiki... So far as I know, the icc situation on Gentoo is basically that it doesn't work for anything reliably, since Intel only support versions of GCC that are being used by RedHat on RedHat, and icc generally can't handle newer versions of libstdc++. -- Ciaran McCreesh
