I've been building gentoo/mips stages, and while I have relatively
fast mips hardware, it's still pretty slow, especially given the
number of variations needed.

Portage/crossdev/catalyst doesn't work like I'd think it should. I'd
like to be able to cross compile full stages from, say, a Core i7.

The only documentation I see from google about paludis+cross compiling
is on the gentoo-wiki, so I though it'd be better to ask here. Can
paludis make this process more sensible?

If it exists, please point me to any documentation about paludis cross
compiling.

Thanks,
Matt
