First of all, you shouldn't be using the 'paludis' client anymore. You should be using `cave resolve world` instead. With cave resolve, if you want to know why a particular package is being pulled in, you can use the -X flag, like: cave resolve world -X kde-base/arts That should give a thorough explanation for why it is being pulled in. -- Mike Kelly
