Sorry I thought that might have given it away. Also I should have stated that I am trying to do this in a W32 environment...but have not had to before. I have a book (Essential CVS ) I have read, using a web browser did not spring to mind, but CVS Grab v221, Tortoise CVS v1.813 did. The server I have been trying to use is anoncvs.gnome.org.
