No change, but I just discovered that some jpegs display as pictures and some don't. They all save to disk okay, though, so I don't think it's mime-related in particular. At first I thought the problem was related to the size of the jpeg, but now I see that the number of lines in the article is not related. Try viewing a variety of posts in alt.binaries.pictures.original as a test. All of the articles under about 100-200 lines seem to display normally, but a few larger ones display normally too. Most of the 2000-4000-line articles display only the raw text.
