Some of us like this :-)  It is not possible to work 18/20 hrs per day if
the screen is like a LEGO game.  I am annoyed if a particular program
doesn't respect my theme.  I understand the other point of view as well.

I am using Pan at home under GNUstep/Window Maker.  It's fine, although
I've never thought of changing the default view.
