Not sure that will help. However, could you run pan with the following command: $ pan --debug --debug |& tee pan.log This command will log all nntp traffic with the nntp serveur (it's very verbose) Then download article headers until you see an article with a wrong date. Then send us the article details (subject, message_id ...) and the file pan.log. Please compress pan.log before sending it. It the log file is too big, please use a file transfer service.
