Chris Wilson (notgary) has assigned this bug to you for nautilus-cd-burner in Ubuntu:
I think Nautilus CD burner must shows anytime the total size of the files to be burned. This info can be obtained using the "File -> Write to disc..." option, i.e. when the user is ready to burn his/her files. Another way to obtain this info is by selecting all the files and go to "File -> Properties" option. I think both the two above methods has a poor usability. I think the best is to have that info clearly visible in all moment, maybe in the rightmost place of the status bar. By the way, I think there must be an option in the Nautilus CD burner to easily change the default CD size: 650/700/800 MB. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111231: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111231 ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Wishlist Assignee: Papercuts Ninja (papercuts-ninja) Status: Triaged ** Affects: nautilus-cd-burner Importance: Wishlist Status: Confirmed ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: Triaged ** Affects: nautilus-cd-burner (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: Triaged -- CD burner should show total size of files to be burned https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/19397 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Papercuts Ninja, which is a bug assignee. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~papercuts-ninja Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~papercuts-ninja More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
