Hey Ninjas, I'll be hanging out with Daniel Holbach on Ubuntu On-Air<http://ubuntuonair.com/> on 18th December at 1600 UTC<http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=One+Hundred+Paper+Cuts+on+Ubuntu+on+Air&iso=20121218T16&ah=1>. I'll be talking about what we do on the project now, what we're hoping to do in the future, and how people can get involved.
There's a corresponding IRC channel on Freenode called #ubuntu-on-air that viewers will be hanging out in and asking questions to the developers, and it would be great if as many of us as possible could be in there on the day to help out, such as following up answers with urls and things like that. I'm going to cover the following topics: * The overall goal of the project to fix 100 small bugs each cycle * The specific goal to focus on the UI foundation technologies, with GTK being the current focus and looking also at Compiz, next cycle. * The different ways in which people can get involved - testing their favourite apps and reporting the bugs, triaging current bugs and making sure their valid paper cuts, fixing bugs, etc * Writing wiki pages for the Dojo to help new contributors get started. I'll also be taking questions from the IRC channel. Do these sounds like good topics to cover, and is there anything else that you guys think should be mentioned? Thanks, Chris
