This might be old news to some in the group, but a few weeks ago I was using Foxit Reader and noticed a little note at the top right saying you can use the Foxit Reader Typwriter feature to fill in pdf forms or make notes on pdf documents.
The Typewriter feature is under the Tools menu. It works real good. You can use some different fonts, change size, color, and some other attributes.
