Christine, Not at all. What is forbidden here is the posting of links to pirate sites or models, or to sites with links to pirate sites or models, etc. For our purposes, a pirate site is one which either hosts copies of free models from other sources without permission, or copies of commercial kits without permission, or links to either. Linking to a legitimate site which offers free models or links to other legitimate sites with free models is always encouraged, as are links to commercial paper model sites whether they offer free samples or not. Creating and *maintaining* a site which collects all those links is a big project; if you're thinking of creating one of your own, be sure you have the time to check all your links periodically to make sure they still work. :-) You should always link to a site's front page, or to it's primary paper models page if that makes more sense for a particular site. Avoid linking directly to individual models' subpages or to their files. -- Mike Hungerford http://users.sdccu.net/chthulhu2/models.html --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
