My post was intended for here, because I want to reach as big a crowd as
possible.

While interesting and novel as hosting the event on the Jeremiah O'Brien,
logistically it might not be feasable

Most of the people who organize the convention in the Dulles area, live and
work there.
Plus one of the biggest decision factors is the proximity of Dulles
International Airport to the hotels in the area.

But I will suggest that if you want to set up an IPMC event on the West
Coast, go right ahead.
