I've read that book. I asked Harv Bennett,  just before the release of Star 
Trek-3, if they'd considered that book as a means of killing off Spock. 

He looked a little stunned and said no.

Nice. I notice one of thee items listed is Tachyons. Have you ever read "Spock 
Must Die" by James Blish?

Tachyons pplayed a crucial role in that book.
