That's the problem I've always had with plastic.  My skills don't match my 
standards, when it comes to painting, so I am frustrated.  I've loved 
building rat rods in plastic, because the paint doesn't matter, it's 
supposed to be lousy.  But that doesn't work on a Ferrari or late model 
Mercedes. <G>

Me three. I have a slew of really great plastics in my hall closet,
and just can't seem to get motivated to
assemble them. After I found paper modeling, it's just so much more
work to build the plastic. Paint, wait,
glue, wait, detail, wait, paint final...you get the picture.
Being somewhat of a "plastic perfectionist" I have found paper to be a
much more pleasant pastime.
