Virginia,
I agree with Paul. Aleene's Tacky Glue sold in a brown or brownish gold 
plastc container purchased at discount stores is still my favorite for card 
modeling.

I use the round metal end caps from   frozen   juice concentrate packages as  
 palettes.

I have an assortment of dental tools for applying tacky glue; these may be 
found in inexpensive packets at Harbor Freight Tool outlets.
