Hi all, I haven't officially introduced myself yet. my name is Mandy and I live in Australia. My hobbies include (but aren't restricted to..), singing, theatre, sewing, computers, reading, all crafts (but NOT scrap booking.. hate scrap booking) and now a new passion of paper modelling. I used to mess around with origami when I was younger, introduced my children to it, but sort of got bored with it. Then one day I was looking for a car manual (no joke!) and found a link to the "100 Exceptional Free Paper Models and Toys". That was it... hooked! Luckily for me, I work in a company that has it's own colour laser printer, a husband that works in the paper industry (he's a printer) and a huge craft shed with all the "toys" I need to make these babies. Car manual? Nope, never did find it, but I sort of stopped looking at this point.
And then, a couple of months later (when between theatre shows - yes I actually sing in them), I find you people, who basically incorporate nearly every paper craft place on the net. I'm currently at 541-550 of the archives and trying not to look at the total amount of threads!! But at the moment, I'm stuck on Sluggy Freelance... It's really funny! So, there is me, mostly, in a nut shell. Oh,, I'm a moderator with such groups as.. "Freecycle Adelaide", "AHH" (A helping hand - a computer help group) and a member of "Custom Corsetry" (building them, not looking at them - tch tch), "Costumers Manifesto", "Free n cheap" and a mail out about Ancient Greece (due to me costuming an entire cast of 35 in classical Greek.. I looked like a bag of spuds! Literally!) Soo,.... that's me, finally. LOL Oh, my question!! Duh... Where do you people keep all your models once built!? I'm running out of places to put mine.
