Well, Mandy,

Look at your expandable files this way-- Their contents didn't require 
thousands of dollars of your family's resources, nor do they require half of 
a two-car garage to keep them protected from fire, theft and the elements, 
and yet, from what I've gleaned from your participation in this forum, I 
believe you receive just as much enjoyment from them as I ever have from my 
plastics.  Even better, they are a renewable resource, and can be, should 
you ever choose to, recycled, something that can't be said for plastic kits.
