LOL Mandy, Welcome to the world of modeling. Have you noticed that the majority of my posts are the simplified designs by Fiddlersgreen? That is because my garage is filled with in-process detailed card models (meaning kits made up of Too Many Parts) and due to me running out of interest in taking sooooo long on a build. Another factor comes into play when every month I meet with the grand masters of modeling (David Okamura, Jim Nunn, Jayo Sutton, and Dan Shippey.) My efforts are nowhere near the bar -that they keep raising but at least I have something completed to show and am extremely flattered to be with these fellows. For example I'll include a snap shot of Jim Nunn's in-process build displayed at this month's meeting. His skilled craftsmanship enables him to compete in Regional IPMS competitions where he places a card model build of a highly detailed tank next to and in line with "plastic" entries and his model wins! Jim is taking a break from his tracked vehicles and I believe is having fun with this WWII fighter. Notice his bulk head to bulkhead fuselage joins. The reason I took the picture, I am still disappointed with my bulkhead to bulkhead joins and have this as a reference to keep trying.
