I, too sometimes use HTTrack to get files from hard to reach places.
I, too sometimes have problems with it downloading all the files.

Actually, I use this type of software quite often to rip audio files
and other downloadables from various websites. I purchased Website
Ripper Copier and find it has a really good set of rules on which
files it downloads. I recommend it, but it is $50. If you rip a lot
of files, it is worth it.

Also, if you're using Firefox, you can get the Downthemall! extension
that does work well. I've not tried it on the Canon site, but I do
use it to get images from CubeeCraft (my setup is having trouble on
his new site) and I use it to download all direct-link materials from
websites with too much good stuff to get by hand. (I'm a teacher and
download a lot of school related PDF, DOC and PPT files.)
