They're 5th grade, but I'm in the..ehrm..ghetto..So they range in age
from 10 to 14.  I actually used to teach 3rd grade and I had a student
who was getting his driver's permit (15 years old).

We do origami and papercrafts every Wednesday for about 20 minutes
after recess(we don't have any pull-outs that day) and on Thursday
afternoon for the last half hour (over 3/4ths of the class goes to the
community center/church for free tutoring).  They let me get away with
it because my classes consistently score better on tests than the
others in this feeder pattern.
