WIP

My current project - a 1/2 scale (roughly) Wall-E built almost
entirely out of recycled cardboard (in keeping with the environmental
message of the movie).
I just completed the weathering test on his back panel tonight. I
didn't intend to achieve this level of detail in cardboard - my
daughter will be playing with it after all, and a rough model would
have sufficed. Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound, as they say.

The only non-card parts are the wheeled base that will go under the
dummy treads, and PVC pipe elbow fittings for his neck - it needs to
be sturdy and be able to pivot.

I might use magnets to attach the arms to the body, with thin steel
strips glued inside the body box, so his arms can achieve multiple
positions.

Hope you like it so far. My daughter can't wait for him to be finished!

Noel
