Hi. I'm asking here before doing so in the relevant lists, because you
guys are more geared towards what i have in mind.

I'm not that experienced when it comes to paper models (i'd say
intermediate level skills, haven't done really complicated
papercrafts). But i've got an itch for quite a while to make a WH40K
Baneblade. For the unfamiliar, the mentioned tank here in this clip
from the PC game Dawn of War:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5n9BiV6Yg8
and it's Wikipedia entry:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicles_of_the_Imperial_Guard_(Warhammer_40,000)#Baneblade

And now i got reminded of this huge model of the same tank:
http://www.mark-1-tank.co.uk/games-workshop-baneblade.html
...and the itch grew again. I mean, with that mobile fortress how can
you resist? :)

I'm subscribed to bwc1 and 2, have seen the two baneblade templates
they have, and i suspect they're created with experienced miniature
modellers in mind. The templates seem to be for constructing things
out of plasticard and with posterior paintjobs, using the blueprints
as a reference. I haven't seen any created with a papermodeller in
mind ("Print this file, carefully apply scissors and glue, you're
done!"). I'm not planning of using any in a wargaming competition (and
as far as i know there's none in this country, at least not in this
city), but i just want a cool-looking tank, and it's rather difficult
that one finds a cooler tank than the Baneblade (11 barrels, the size
of a house, created to fight monsters and supersoldiers that can
literally crush other tanks with their hands, and so on).

Have you guys seen such model of this tank? If not, What's the best
way for a not-too-skilled papermodeller to tackle one of these
templates?

I didn't ask on the BWC groups right away because they seem to
consider those templates "easy". I'd probably consider them easy too
if i were used to sculpt and paint tiny plastic models for wargames
that earn awards (or huge, have you seen their scratch-built titans?),
but the most complicated model i've made is Yotsuba (not really
complicated, rather boxy in fact). I'd rather ask here first, where
you guys tackle both Howl's castle and the cubees and my request will
seem reasonable. :P
