Hi all, I attended the Army Heritage Day at the US Army Heritage & Education Center in Carlisle PA, yesterday, May 16th 2009. The AHEC is part of the US Army War College, and includes an Heritage trail,
with various replicas of defensive fortifications, a WWI trench, a Vietnam Fire Base, and others. Also on display is an AH-1 Cobra, a M4 Sherman, a UH-1 Huey, and a M-18 Hellcat Tank Destroyer. Don Boose, Greg Perry, and Kevin Stephenson, and I has 4 tables to our disposal, and all four were covered in paper models. You can check out the tables, and some of the static displays here http://picasaweb.google.com/rickstef/2009ArmyHeritageDay# Also, in this thread over on www.papermodelers.com we have some other accounts of the event, and more pictures http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/museums-air-shows-events-get-togethers/2879-16-may-2009-army.html I am hoping that we get invited back next year, I had a great time. Plus this is a good little warm up for IPMC in October. Rick -- "Rock is Dead, Long Live Paper and Scissors" Want the same traffic, attitude, and information?
