I'll take a look at your build.
I didn't place the caps inside the cylinders. What you may be able to see is the rolled paper I used inside to create a support for each cylinder. I should have followed my instincts and formed solid cylinders, glued the cap on, then cut out the groove. Since I didn't do that. I had to split the caps and glue a piece on each side of the rod or pipe that runs across the top. I find the doohickey things a dash to large. Yeah, gotta get me some of those magnifiers. I wear glasses too, but am used to wearing regular sunglasses over my prescriptions.
