This is an all new film. It is loosely based on the original series
with more modern character portrayals and seriously great CG art (I have
seen some of it through a friend in the studio). This film should
satisfy all the fans of the original and introduce Space Battleship
Yamato to a new generation. I am not sure whether it will get a US
release but, if it doesn't, there will surely be fansubs of it.
