Paul, it's not the pdf reader that is the problem...Windows seems to
think the file is corrupt or unreadable so run chkdsk from a terminal
like chkdsk /f and that should fix any file system errors. Be aware
though that NOTHING is a given with MS so always backup first to be on
the safe side.
