Paul, Another option is the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack: http://www.codecguide.com/download_mega.htm It installs Media Player Classic and a whole bunch of codecs that will let you open media files you've probably never even heard of. You can also ditch Real Player and Quick Time as it will let you open those formats in MPC as well.
